Create the first ‘has it all’ skincare brand from scratch.
Strategy
We started by trying to answer the question;
Why do people “want it all”?
And the answer is simple.
Every tenet of their persona, each daily decision and yes, every purchase, is a premeditated form of the same singular purpose: Self Expression.
We got to know our consumers and the adjacent brand worlds they live in. Next, we extracted the superpowers and positioning of the key products within these adjacencies, dissecting the language of luxury and defining the founding values, personality, manifesto, naming system, and tone of voice of the Auteur brand—building ever closer to a crescendo in design.
Brand Identity
Each touchpoint is designed to live at the apex of modern luxury, framed by a world of superlatives and exquisite detail. To bring fresh energy and perspective to an often predictable landscape, we abandoned tasteful minimalism in favour of controlled maximalism—rich, decadent, and celebratory.
An elevated brand toolkit is centered around a familiar honey hue and ribbed papers, bubble embossed logos matched with classically debossed letterpress for contrast seen in regal gold foils.
The typographic language pairs a decorative script (Selva Script) with a contemporary grotesque (GT America) to build contrast into the graphic world.
Product Design
The product design echos aspects of the brand, elegance, boldness and magnificence through meticulously crafted details: from the custom seven-sided borosilicate glassware to the collection of seven unique tortoiseshell caps adorned with an embossed gold coin crown. The product design aspires to become an ageless interior object—Something even the Hollywood elite can cherish.
